SURVEY GRADUATE or SURVEY TECHNICIAN

Axis Consultants have a position available for a Survey Technician or a recent Survey Graduate to join the team in our Auckland office.

Your ideal experience and attributes include:

  • A minimum of 1-4 years New Zealand Cadastral Survey experience (negotiable)

  • Topographic, Construction setout and Boundary survey experience

  • Proficiency with 12D software, Trimble Robotic Total Stations and GPS instruments

  • The ability to work within a team environment with minimum supervision

  • Good communication skills

  • A strong work ethic and drive for field surveying

    A positive attitude and ability to learn

What a typical day would look like:

  • You will work locally on the North Shore

  • You will report to our office manager in our Birkenhead office and you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior members of staff

  • You will work closely with other disciplines in-house and across our three offices to deliver projects for our clients

  • You will be well-supported within an expert survey team within the office

  • You will have exposure to all facets of the consulting environment from client engagement, through to preparation of fee proposals, project coordination and delivery and invoicing of projects – we develop our staff to be great business people as well as great experts in their field.
